Testimonials from satisfied NEWrotic New York City Tours clients.

Below you will find clients own words describing their adventures. We are as serious as chili 'n onions at a West Texas truck stop or perhaps more like pastrami on rye about giving you an essential New York City Adventure, which you can't find in the mass market. Give these testimonials a quick read and then decide, if you would like to find yourself looking back at a time when you had your own uniquely NEWrotic New York Experience.

Boy oh Boy where do I start... as a regular visitor to the USA (Always nice to see how the colonies are doing), I was recommended to Marc by a friend.. now Marc could have been a serial killer or worse still a Manchester United fan.. what a great guy.. he opened my eyes to a NYC I did not know exited from an amazing gallery to food to die for.. this trip is the Dogs.B******s as we say in the UK. Ejoy the trip, enjoy the man, enjoy the music quotes and his knowledge.. marks out of 10 a definate 10... thank you I'll be back....

Thank goodness we found Marc Preven, as a Saturday afternoon and evening on his Newrotic New York City Tour of Queens was one of our best days yet! Read & See More

Brad & Bex,
We did the Queen´s visit and it was amazing! We enjoyed Mark´s explanations and a great cultural time in the different areas of Queens. I'd recommend this different view of NY to everyone!

Truly a tasty treat of the hidden New York---Marc personalized visits to the subways, neighbours, (Canadian’s eh…) and great ‘Cliff Clavenisms’of the neibourhoods charms you to savory the Experience. Neither rain, terrorist alerts, nor injuries slowed him down…... Remember Marc, as Cliff professes, Only one person in two billion will live to be 116 or older

Really---all This and More---

Janis & Audie, Ottawa Canada

We would like to thank you very much for an interesting and amazing ethnic tour in Queens, we really learned a lot from you about the different communities and their cultures and by visiting their food markets and their unique shops.
We enjoyed very much your guiding and wish you a lot of success in the future.

Marc knows his city well and has a low key approach with people, making him a good guide. Being a long distance runner I am in a little better shape than Marc, but he gets around and can show you places. even few New Yorkers know.
All in all, a gratifying experience indeed.

These tours are about as far off the beaten path as you can get from the obsessive shutter-clicking flocks of the big red buses. They're also great for locals that want to feel like they're getting a taste of non-touristy culture without leaving the city limits.
Marc is an excellent guide - he's full of so much information and he really makes the neighborhoods come alive.

New York is not about place, but rather a series of experiences. Come along and experience NEWrotic New York. You will be directly plugged into the pulse of New York and its surrounding boroughs. Take a Newrotic bite out of the Big Apple-it's a deliciously tasty treat!

A Newrotic tour is a foray into the Queens otherworld with a local enthusiast.

This tour ROCKS! My six year old son and I spent the day with Marc and had a blast. It is a day we won't soon forget. There is so much more to NYC than the traditional tours of Times Square and the Empire State Building. I wanted my son to experience the "real" New York and I was not disappointed.

As a freelance travel writer based in New York City, I sometimes know less about my home city than I do about Paris, Shanghai or the Ozarks. Through Marc's tour of Elmhurst, Queens, I got to know that part of the most diverse neighborhood in the most diverse city in the world. Amazing. It's a food lovers dream come true as you stroll up Broadway. Early Dutch history of NYC also comes into focus as you walk past buildings dating back to NYC's founding.
Marc really knows his stuff and I enjoyed his tour so much that I went back on my own last week with a friend to eat and stroll again.
Keep up the good work, Marc.

I signed up my family, two 50 something parents, our 18 year old daughter, and her 20 year old friend doing a summer internship in NYC. We had a wonderful time eating Chinese dumplings from a pushcart in Queens, exploring ethnic food markets and restaurants. I still marvel at 8 different Greek feta cheese options. This was a birthday gift for my husband and he was thrilled with the day. I can't sign off without mentioning the yummy cheese pastries at the Colombian bakery.
